🇫🇷 Paris Travel News 🇫🇷
🤩 FYI, the Louvre is FREE the first Friday night of the month (except for July and August) - you still need to book online. 🎟 April 1st is the annual reopening of Giverny, the famous garden of Claude Monet. Be sure to book your ticket in advance and see Monet’s paintings at the Musée d’Orsay first. 🖼 The Mona Lisa will get its own room in the Louvre, and admission will be charged separately.

Bonjour Reader,
So, we can all make mistakes, even the most seasoned travelers – me included.
Despite living in Paris for more than twenty years and having already had my handbag stolen once, it almost happened to me again recently. Ugh.
I’d just got back from holiday and was having brunch with a friend in this great café on the edge of Montmartre. I’d hung my handbag on the back of my chair and this very normal looking guy almost slid it into his “shopping bag”. I know to be more careful than this, but my head was in the clouds…
That being said, Paris is a pretty safe city, as long as you stay aware and know the possible issues that could come. You should be all set thanks to this week’s Paris Postcard which includes:
